Cockatiels are a very social, smart bird. They often learn to sing songs or wolf-whistle. Cockatiels love the attention and its best to have plenty of toys for them to play with!   All cockatiels are $90.00

Parakeets

Parakeets are talkative and love to flock together.  They come in a wide variety of colors and are a good choice for a first-time bird owner.  Gender can be determined by the color of their "nose" patch!  Pink for girls and blue for boys.  Parakeets are $30.00

Zebra Finches

Zebra finches are flock birds and should always be kept in groups.  They are a wonderful choice if you are looking for a caged bird who will entertain you, but they are not the type of bird that you can take out of the cage and handle.  Zebra finches are $14.00

Society and Indian Spice Finches

Society and Indian Spice finches are very similar to zebra finches.  They need to be a part of a flock (and yes, you can mix and match them), and are best as a watched (not held) bird.  We usually have society finches in stock, though Indian spice finches aren't always available.  Society and Indian spice finches are $30.00 each.

Canaries

Canaries come in more than just yellow!  These birds were once used by miners to detect toxic fumes down in mine shafts.  Now they make attractive companions for bird fanciers, and the song of the male canary is arguably the most beautiful of any companion bird.  Female canaries do not sing.  Male canaries are $100.00, female canaries are $65.00.

Lovebirds

Lovebirds are colorful and have distinct personalities.  They almost resemble a small parrot.  Be prepared to keep them occupied with toys, treats, and mental stimulation to avoid a frustrated (noisy and nippy) bird.  Though not always in stock, lovebirds are available for $50.00

Doves

Doves are quiet, peaceful birds.  When they feel comfortable with their surroundings they'll quietly coo.  Doves are fairly low maintenance, and make good pets.  We do not always have doves in stock, but when we do they are $35.00
